Magnescale PL60C head cables have a magnetic principle. These have a maximum resolution of 5um with a SL331 AND pl60 or 10um. With the resolution of 5um they have a very high response speed of 250 meters per minute. The standard reader head cable length is 3 meters, there are extension cable options with the CE08 of 1, 3, 5, 10, and 15 meters.
Magnescale PL81/82 have an integrated reader head and interpolator unit for position control in a compact design. These reader heads have cable length options of 3, 5, 7, 10, or 15 meters. The resolution options are: 10, 20, 25, 50, and 100 um. These reader heads have a high response speed of 300 meter per second.
